At this location the minimum age is 21 for all car groups, except for the following: minimum age is 25 for car groups E and K (Intermediate), F and O (Full Size), G (Premium), H (Mini Van), M (Mini Bus), N (Intermediate Wagon), and P (Full Size Wagon). Young driver fee: For renters 21 to 24 EUR 10.16 per day, maximum 15 day charge.

AFTER-HOURS RETURNS Accepted Drop Box at the main desk in Terminal 2B arrival level, where documents and key car be left 24 hours.

At the time of rental, the driver must present a valid driver's license in the driver's name from their country of residence. Customers presenting a driver's license in a non-Roman alphabet must also present an International Driving Permit (IDP) to serve as a translation in addition to their valid drivers license.

Rented cars are delivered with full tank of petrol. By returning the car in case of missing fuel (4.45 EUR/liter) it will be charged with refuelling service fee (16.51 EUR, VAT included) together.

Avis Hungary accepts Avis Charge Cards, American Express, MasterCard / Eurocard, Visa. Visa Electron and Cirrus Maestro are not accepted.

Public liability insurance is in accordance with the insurance laws of the country. Customer may inquire at the time of rental for additional information of the benefits, conditions and acceptance. Information not available at this time, please check at time of rental. Note: Some credit cards provide insurance coverage, with certain limitations, as a benefit of using the card to rent vehicles. The customer is advised to contact the card issuer before the rental. Any waiver must be discussed directly with the location upon arrival.

Vehicles owned by and rented from Hungary may not be driven into, or rented one-way to Albania, Belarus, Kosovo, Bosnia-Hercegovina, Bulgaria, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Macedonia, Moldova, Montenegro, Russia, Serbia, Ukraine. Avis vehicles are allowed to cross borders only with a special permit issued by Avis. Travel into Serbia is allowed on car groups A, B C and D provided the car is returned to Hungary. A cross-border fee of 25.40 EUR per rental + Tax will apply.

Collision Damage Waiver (CDW) is optional Customer is liable for the full value of the Avis vehicle if CDW is not purchased. If CDW is purchased, the renter's liability is reduced to an amount ranging from 1000.00 EUR to 3000.00 EUR, depending on the car group rented. Theft Protection (TP) is optional Customer is liable for the full value of the Avis vehicle if TP is not purchased. If TP is purchased, the renter's liability is reduced to an amount ranging from 1800.00 EUR to 9500.00 EUR, depending on the car group rented. Note: If you require additional insurance coverage you may purchase locally to reduce/remove the insurance excess. Just ask at the Avis rental desk when you collect your car.
