At this location the minimum age to rent 21 years for all car groups. At time of rental, on the Dutch Side we will automatically apply an additional 8.00 USD per day underage surcharge for renters ages 21-25 years with a maximum of 80.00 USD per rental. At time of rental, on the French Side we will automatically apply an additional 8.00 EUR per day underage surcharge for renters ages 21-25 years with a maximum of 80.00 EUR per rental.

AFTER-HOURS RETURNS Not Accepted Rental vehicle must be returned during office hours. NOTE: Some locations may have a key drop available. If the customer chooses to leave the vehicle, the customer is responsible for the vehicle & all charges (including any damages the vehicle may have incurred during after hours) until the contract can be closed on the following business day. If the location does not have a key drop box, the location does not permit vehicles to be left after closing hours. The customer should never lock the keys inside the car. The customer will be charged a fee for a locksmith to unlock the vehicle.

A valid driver's license from country of residence is required. License must have been held for at least one year immediately prior to rental pick-up date. International driving permit (IDP) is required only for countries with non-Roman alphabet to serve as a translation.

Avis accepts Avis Charge Cards, Air Travel, American Express, Discover, Mastercard, Optima, Visa. An additional charge card hold will apply. The hold will be the estimated cost of rental, plus CDW. Exception: If the charge card used by the renter offers collision coverage, the liability amount is not held on the charge card. The customer is advised to contact the card issuer before the rental.

Public liability insurance is in accordance with the insurance laws of the country. Customer may inquire at the time of rental for additional information of the benefits, conditions and acceptance. Information not available at this time, please check at time of rental. Note: Some credit cards provide insurance coverage, with certain limitations, as a benefit of using the card to rent vehicles. The customer is advised to contact the card issuer before the rental. Any waiver must be discussed directly with the location upon arrival.

Cars can be returned to other Avis locations within the same cities. One-way rentals are subject to availability and one-way fees may apply. Vehicles are not available for one way rentals outside this country. Cars are not allowed outside of the country.

Loss Damage Waiver (LDW) is optional (taxable) Purchase reduces renters financial liability (NWE) for damages to the vehicle as a result of an accident, vandalism or theft. If LDW is purchased, the renter's liability is reduced to an amount of 500.00 USD, not to exceed 3,000.00 USD depending on car group rented. If LDW is not purchased, the renters liability is 11,000.00 USD, not to exceed 49,000.00 USD depending on car group rented. Exception: No LDW is available for purchase on car group M.
