대여위치의 이용약관
- If you want to pick up the vehicle and return it to a different location, an additional fee will be payable. If you asked for a one-way rental when you booked, the fee will be included in your total rental price. If you didn't ask for a one-way rental when you booked and you want to return the vehicle to a different location in the same country, you can expect pay an additional fee of between KRW 37,000.00 and KRW 328,000.00 Drop offs at a different location must be agreed with us in advance. Please contact us if you would like to understand what additional fee will apply to a one-way rental in circumstances where it didn't form part of your original rental agreement. If you did not request a one-way rental but return the vehicle to a different location, you will be charged a one-way fee at the 'pay at location' prices available on the day you return the vehicle.
- Minimum age: renters must be at least 21 years old to rent most vehicles. For luxury vehicles, an additional age requirement of 26 years or older is added. Maximum age: N/A
- Requirement to bring a valid driving licence with you. In the Republic of Korea, all drivers must bring their valid International driving Permits with them. The IDP must be less than 1 year from issuance, issued from an embassy or consulate, and the country must be registered to the Geneva or Vienna Convention.. Only paper IDPs are accepted, and plastic driver's licenses are not valid. A local license translated to English cannot substitute the IDP. * EU Driver's license, International Drive License and International Driving Document is not accepted in Korea. Minimum licence requirements All drivers must have held their licence for at least 1 year from the date of pick-up. If a licence does not show the driver has held it for the minimum period, then they must provide evidence, such as: previous driving licences; or a letter from their driving licence authority stating that they have held it for this minimum period.
- Fuel charges - traditional fuel (diesel or petrol) and hybrid vehicles Returning the vehicle Unless you agreed a different refuelling option (see below), you must return the vehicle to us with the same amount of fuel it had in it when you picked it up usually a full tank as shown on the factory-installed fuel gauge or automatically logged in respect of connected cars. Take a photo of your dashboard, before you leave. You have to make the same level of fuel when you return. Either you can fill up with fuel during rental, or pay the shortage at the return location (credit card only). Fully electric vehicles Charging fees must be paid when you return. It is based on the actual distance traveled. *Charging fees = (arrival mileage - departure mileage) x charging rate (1km = ￦ 60)
- Avis accepts Avis Charge Cards, AirPlus, American Express, BC Bankcard, Diners Club Int'l., Mastercard, Visa.
- Public liability insurance is in accordance with the insurance laws of the country. Customer may inquire at the time of rental for additional information of the benefits, conditions and acceptance. Information not available at this time, please check at time of rental. Note: Some credit cards provide insurance coverage, with certain limitations, as a benefit of using the card to rent vehicles. The customer is advised to contact the card issuer before the rental. Any waiver must be discussed directly with the location upon arrival.
- Vehicles are not permitted to leave South Korea.
- Collision Damage Waiver (CDW) is optional Customer is liable for the full value of the Avis vehicle if Collision Damage Waiver (CDW) is not taken. If CDW is purchased, the renter's liability is reduced to $300.00. If you have Damage Waiver (CDW) and the vehicle or any vehicle documents are damaged, the amount you have to pay for the damage will be reduced to no more than the excess stated on your rental agreement meaning you'll pay for the cost of repair or replacement plus a damage processing fee of 300,000 WON or the excess, whichever is less. If you can show the damage was not in any way your fault or due to your negligence, we will refund these costs to you. If you can show the damage was less than we said, we will refund you the difference. Theft Protection (TP) is included with purchase of CDW Note: If you require additional insurance coverage you may purchase locally to reduce/remove the insurance excess.
