At the time of rental, the driver must present a valid drivers license in the drivers name from their country of residence. Renter and all drivers must have held their license for at least 2 years. Customers presenting a drivers license in a non-Roman alphabet must also present an International Driving Permit (IDP) to serve as a translation in addition to their valid drivers license. An International Driving Permit (IDP) serves only as a translation of a driver's existing license, and by itself is not acceptable for vehicle rental.

Avis accepts Avis Charge Card, MasterCard and Visa. A deposit amount from a minimum 1000.00 EUR to a maximum 3000.00 EUR will be held against your credit card for the duration of the rental if the price includes CDW and TP. If the price doesn`t include CDW and TP deposit amount is from a minimum 12,100.00 EUR to a 36,300.00 EUR. Your deposit a guarantee held in the event of damage/theft of the vehicle or parking fines . This will be automatically released if there is no theft , damage or parking fines during the rental period. A valid credit card n the name of the lead driver must be presented at the rental desk in order to pre-authorize/charge the above mentioned deposit. In the event that you fail to present a valid credit card, there is a lack of sufficient funds available on the credit card or the credit card is not in the lead drivers name, the car rental agent may refuse to release the vehicle. In these instances, no funds paid will be reimbursed.

Public liability insurance is in accordance with the insurance laws of the country. Customer may inquire at the time of rental for additional information of the benefits, conditions and acceptance. Information not available at this time, please check at time of rental. Note: Some credit cards provide insurance coverage, with certain limitations, as a benefit of using the card to rent vehicles. The customer is advised to contact the card issuer before the rental. Any waiver must be discussed directly with the location upon arrival.

One way rentals outside the country are on request. One way fee between TGD and BV2 12.00 EUR (plus tax), between TGD and BOA 20.00 EUR (plus tax), between TGD and UL4 40.00 EUR (plus tax). Between TIV and BV2 12.00 EUR (plus tax), between TIV and BOA 20.00 EUR (plus tax), between TIV and UL4 40.00 EUR (plus tax).

Collision Damage Waiver is optional Customer is liable for an amount ranging from 200.00 to 400.00 EUR, depending on the car group rented, if Collision Damage Waiver (CDW) is purchased. If CDW is not purchased customer liable for an amount ranging from 100,000.00 to 30,000.00 EUR depending on car size rented. CDW is inefective when renter/second driver is under influence of alcohol, drugs. Theft Protection (TP) is optional Customer is liable for an amount ranging from 200.00 to 400.00 EUR, depending on the car group rented, if Theft Protection (TP) is purchased. If TPis not purchased customer liable for an amount ranging from 100,000.00 to 30,000.00 EUR depending on car size rented. Note: Super coverage is available for purchase for 20.00 EUR to 54.00 EUR depending on car group rented. Purchase of Super Coverage will reduce customer liability to zero.
